Live Chat: Do You Use It?
We are launching a Live Chat feature on our website this evening in hopes that it will further streamline and facilitate communication with our customers. Live Chat… you know… the little button you see on some websites these days that allows you to start an IM session with a real live person…
What do you think? Will people use this feature? Would you use it?
Personally, I prefer to use Live Chat tools when I am doing internet research. I would MUCH rather be on IM with someone than waiting to get connected to them by phone (while listening to poorly recorded renditions of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony). I do not want to give you the wrong impression, I must disclose that our phone system is AWESOME and does a great job making sure that people can get a hold of us easily… but for most websites, I have found that Live Chat is THE way to get questions answered quickly and easily.

I used the live chat feature today. It was great. The contact, Dustin, was very helpful. I recommend it highly!! This is the first home site where I found the feature. Wish more had it.

Richard… we are glad that you enjoyed your experience with Mollenhour Homes. IM really is a great way to communicate with customers. It is actually our company’s primary means of internal communication (even above cell phones) as well.
IM is a cornerstone of real-time customer service and we are excited to now offer it.

Jordan… Thank you so much for your help today! The Live Chat feature is wonderful! It was very easy and so much better than having to wait on a response email! The Mollenhour Homes website as a whole is so great! All in all, your website and the Live Chat feature has made my internet home search so much easier and more enjoyable! Thank you!!
