As of February 2009, Mollenhour Homes is offering what we call the “Safe Transition Program”. The concept is simple really. We offer our customers two very unique opportunities to make a smooth and safe transition into a new Mollenhour Home. All you have to do is let us know which of the following programs you prefer to enroll in:
Under our Mortgage Assistance Program, Mollenhour Homes will agree to pay your mortgage for up to six months or up to $10,000 if you lose your job within one year after moving into your new Mollenhour Home. Our goal is to help you feel safe and secure until the current economic storm passes. We want you to sleep well at night knowing that you will have time to recover from an unexpected misfortune.
Under our Accommodations Assistance Program, Mollenhour Homes will provide you with a home until we are ready to hand you the keys to your new Mollenhour Home. Our goal is to help you coordinate the sale of your existing home (which will be easier to sell if it is vacant) or your move into the Knoxville area without having to deal with the added cost and stress of renting a home or renting storage space. We just want to help you just as we have helped many customers in the past.
Additionally, lumber prices are at a twenty-year low, interest rates are as low as they have been in a generation, and labor costs are much more reasonable than in recent years. Put simply, despite the markets in Florida and California, it is actually a GREAT time to build a custom home in East Tennessee.
